Jason Climbing up Red Peak in Commonwealth Basin Jason

Wanting to make the most of the weather we decided ski tour out to Commonwealth Basin in the Snoqualmie Pass Backcountry to ski Red Peak and Lundin Peak.
As the weather window was looking good we were looking to ski some of the more aesthetic lines around.
Climbing Red Peak    After skinning up commonwealth Basin we quickly switched over to bootpack for the final pitch of Red Peak.
Jason Climbing up Red Peak in Commonwealth Basin    Jason, Amar and Christy climbing     Enjoying the views from the summit on our ski tour    Once on the summit we had great views of the surrounding peaks noting to myself I would have to return another day.
Looking towards the Kendal Chutes    Looking towards Lundin Peak from the summit of Red Mountain    Skiing down Red Peak    With it being a open slide path we carefully rode down one at a time before traversing over to a safe spot.
Once someone was safe the next person would go down to them.
Amar preparing to ski off the summit    Jason skiing down with Lundin Peak in the background    Our crew skiing with Snoqualmie ski resort in the background    Amar skiing the lower portion to Commonwealth Basin    Jason skiing into Commonwealth Basin    Ski Touring up Lundin Peak    With the day still being early we decided to go for a second run on Lundin Peak as it looked like a great ski from a distance.
Heading up the skin track    Jason ski touring up our second run    Once on top we once again had great views from a different vantage point.
Christy resting on the Peak with Commonwealth Basin in the background    Looking into the Snoqualmie Pass backcountry    Looking towards Overcoat Peak which we visited on the Alpine Lakes Traverse    Skiing down Lundin Peak    Amar skiing down with Red Peak in the background    We were happy with both the scenery and the terrain making the most out of a semi short ski touring day.
The terrain in Commonwealth Basin is easily accessible and has great terrain for people of any ability.
